All participants in the Basic Rider Course are required to complete an online e-course before attending the class. The e-course information will be sent via email.
This course covers the fundamentals of becoming a safe and responsible motorcycle rider. It helps you learn the physical and mental skills required for operating a motorcycle in everyday riding situations. It also provides a wealth of practical advice on basic motorcycle safety checks, the types and benefits of motorcycle-specific riding apparel, and time-proven techniques for becoming a safe, more confident rider.
All participants in the Basic Rider Course will be required to complete an online e-course before attending the class. You will need to provide documentation verifying completion of the e-course when you arrive to the in person portion of your course. After you register for one of the Basic Rider Courses, you will be sent a confirmation email to the email address you provided during the registration process. A link to the online e-course will also be included in your email confirmation. Utah Ride to Live discounts have been extended and are now available until September 30, 2024. This discount is only applicable for classes before September 30, 2024. You must complete the survey at their website to obtain the discount code https://ridetolive.utah.gov/riding-skills/. Scroll to the bottom of the webpage, select your training location, and begin the survey. If you register for a class that begins on or after September 30th using a discount code, you will be contacted, refunded, and you must sign up again. This is not available for students who have already completed a course with us.
