Beginning Riders

All participants in the Basic Rider Course are required to complete an online e-course before attending the class. The e-course information will be sent via email.

This course covers the fundamentals of becoming a safe and responsible motorcycle rider. It helps you learn the physical and mental skills required for operating a motorcycle in everyday riding situations. It also provides a wealth of practical advice on basic motorcycle safety checks, the types and benefits of motorcycle-specific riding apparel, and time-proven techniques for becoming a safe, more confident rider.

All participants in the Basic Rider Course will be required to complete an online e-course before attending the class. You will need to provide documentation verifying completion of the e-course when you arrive to the in person portion of your course. After you register for one of the Basic Rider Courses, you will be sent a confirmation email to the email address you provided during the registration process. A link to the online e-course will also be included in your email confirmation. If you have any questions about the Basic Rider Course, or the online e-course, please contact our registration office at 801-957-5200, or Dan Terry at 801-957-5278.
